Enjoying the Yale Campus a couple of evenings before graduation.
Graduation morning! These are scenes behind the scenes which Eden took as students gathered to robe and line up for the traditional walk to the center lawn of campus. (Yikes, I should know what that's called, but I forget!)
The speakers' platform with many dignitaries on it. But the only commonly known one was Hillary Clinton, receiving an honorary doctorate from her Alma mater. Your guess is as good as any as to which one she is. It must be said in her favor that her remarks were very brief and that she did not try to steal the show :).
Here come the nursing grads! There are no nursing "undergrads" at Yale. All nursing students are post-graduate.
After the general university graduation, the various schools broke up for their own presentation of diplomas, even though their degrees were conferred during the general ceremony. We went to the Yale Theater where the smaller ceremony was held. But looking at my pictures, I don't know if I got any of that :(. I also thought I had a movie of Eden receiving her diploma, but it isn't on my camera at least.
